The Suits is Adelaide's premier events band. It boasts hot new talents Kiah Lanagan, Jakub Tengdahl and Abby Witts, led by the experienced hand of Musical Director, Robyn Habel.

The Suits have played weddings, balls, parties, pubs, exhibition openings and festivals to much acclaim as well as backing visiting artists and working as session recording musicians.

Robyn Habel

Robyn Habel is among Adelaide's leading jazz performers and educators. The recipient of nine SAMIA awards, Robyn has played with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Don Burrows, James Morrison and Normie Rowie and supported the likes of Crowded House and Stevie Wonder to name but a few. Robyn is a JJJ Unearthed winner and has recently released her third studio album as a solo artist to critical acclaim.

Kiah Lanagan


Heralding from Queensland, smooth and sultry jazz singer, Kiah Lanagan has proved a hit on the Adelaide scene. Kiah is a SCALA award winner and was second place winner in the Musical Theatre section of the Gold Coast Eisteddfod. Think Astrud Gilberto meets Norah Jones- Kiah is among Australia's hottest up and coming, young vocalists.

Jakub Tengdahl

Graduating with distinctions from the Elder Conservatorium, Jakub is a creative and impressive player. He is a master of improvisation and a delight to watch. As a foundation member of indie-pop outfit "We Grow Up", he has enjoyed national acclaim and airplay, including supporting Missy Higgins on her recent tour.

Abby Witts


Abby has been doing the rounds of the Adelaide music scene for more years than she cares to admit. She has performed with Jimmy Little & David Helfgott; and has worked as a studio musician and composer for Patch and Murray Park Theatre Companies. Her vast CV lists performances with rock, funk, fusion, soul, pop, alternative, indigenous and electronica outfits. She is currently studying under jazz master, Laurie Kennedy.
